Wisdom Institute for Teenage Mothers

Mission:
To envision possibilities, invest in the human capacity of girls, pregnant and parenting teens/single adult women, marshal resources, encourage higher education and mobilize support through collaborative, supportive networks.

The Mentoring Structure:

• Type: One-to-one mentoring, peer facilitated self-help groups w/adult coaches
  
• Location: Community sites, a school
  
• Mentees: 12-25 year old girls, single women
  
• When: In-school, after school, summer community service project
  
• Where: In Detroit and metropolitan area
